Facebook is actively developing a new virtual office — Infinite Office

A couple of years ago, Facebook announced Oculus for Business, a software package for corporate virtual reality. But today, Facebook is going further and introducing a new virtual office for those who work from home. It’s called Infinite Office and promises to make remote work more immersive and engaging.”> 

With Infinite Office, you can put on the headset and transport yourself to a virtual office space that can be as large or as small as you want. You can also add multiple customizable screens, allowing you to create a personalized workspace.

The new feature allows you to set up your workspace anywhere you want. To use it, you will need the Oculus Quest 2 headset.  You can input information using a physical keyboard. Additionally, with the Infinite Office and the augmented reality platform Spatial, you can conduct virtual group meetings. They are planning to release it by winter..

Quest 2 is the second generation of VR developed by Facebook

It has the highest display resolution, weighs less than the original Quest, and is priced at just $299. The VR comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 platform processor and 6GB of memory for even more immersive experiences, with newly redesigned controllers for improved ergonomics and increased battery life. Pre-orders are already open, and it will be available for sale on October 13th.
